As in Formula 1, Formula E also has a night race. 2 on consecutive days even. For this very reason, Diriyah, Saudi Arabia is where, in my opinion, almost the most spectacular races take place.
How come? The entire track here is illuminated with LED technology, which looks absolutely incredible.
In this article you will find out everything you need to know about the Diriyah E-Prix:
About the track
Length: 2,495km/1550miles
Turns: 21
The E-Prix in Diriyah has been held there since 2018 and is now being repeated for the fourth time. 2 drivers have already won it twice: Sam Bird and Nyck de Vries.
Among other things, the Formula E contract with the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation runs for another 5 years.

Entertainment lineup
In addition to all the racing action, there is also plenty of entertainment to be seen in Diriyah. This year performers include Mahmoud El Esseily, Martin Garix, Mohammed Hamaki, French Montana, TBC, and Miguel.
Getting to the venue
In my opinion, getting to the track is very uncomplicated in Diriyah. The meeting point for everyone with a ticket is King Saud University, where it is then possible to pick up a wristband. Afterwards you can use a free shuttle bus that will take you straight to the track.
However, seats on the grandstands are unassigned, so it's important to get there early to grab a good spot.
Purchases at the race track
It is possible to purchase food and drinks at the circuit. There is also a merch shop in the Allianz Fan Village and free "water stations" where you can fill up your water bottle.
Autograph session + Pit lane walk
Again, it is possible to take part in an autograph session. Unfortunately, there is no information about this on the FormulaE website yet, but I would guess that, as always before, you have to pick up a wristband from the information desk in the fan village to take part.
Hope this helps!!
